In sexual intercourse, a man puts his erecting penis into a vagina of woman. The man then moves his penis in and out of her vagina to make a friction. This friction causes the man to get increasingly excited until finally he comes or ejaculates. At the time he ejaculates, he releases semen or a sticky white substance. This sticky white substance contains millions of sperm cells that are ready to join with woman’s tiny egg that she releases one every month. These sperm cells then swim up the woman's vagina, and go through her womb and finally into her fallopian tubes. Here the sperm cells then join with the tiny egg of woman. The joining of sperm cells and woman’s egg is also known as conception or fertilization. If this joining or fertilization is successful then woman will get pregnant.
