No matter you are taking ovulation prediction tests, charting or tracking when you ovulate, you must focus on one thing, intercourse. During ovulation process, sperm can fertilize the egg that will finally lead to possible implantation and pregnancy.

Ovulating and getting pregnant have strong relation one another. What should you do to get pregnant during ovulation? Follow these steps carefully may getting pregnant happen to you:
  1. Avoid activities that can affect your fertility and prevent pregnancy such as smoking, drinking alcohol, and illegal drugs. Don’t wait until you get pregnant to stop this bad habit.
  2. Consult your doctor before planning to get pregnant. He will help you check your medical conditions that might prevent pregnancy. He may also give you some advice how to conceive.
  3. Start taking prenatal vitamins to reduce birth defects during conception. Talking them before getting pregnant will make you accustomed to taking them during pregnancy.
  4. Have sex as often as you can. Having sex more often will give more chances to conceive. Three times a week would be enough after ensuring your ovulation timing. Having sex should be done prior to ovulation to give the sperm a chance to fertilize the egg directly.
  5. Do sex intercourse for fun and free from stress. Try out new positions to keep it enjoyable and exciting.
  6. Try different positions during sex intercourse because sexual positions can also affect the chances of getting pregnant. It is better for you to take positions that allow the sperm to be in vagina longer.
